Let me make this clear for you all.  I don’t make cosplays.  I can’t make cosplays.  I’m not good at sewing, at stitching, I’m the most cloth illiterate person there is.  A rock is a better seamstress than I am.  Yet, I’m continuously happy to find such a wonderful group of friends who help me out and/or give me advice on what to do.  It’s up to the point now in fact that I can feel myself actually starting to pick up speed with coming out with new cosplays.

So far, my latest, complete cosplay was a classic version of Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat; a pretty simple design that I commissioned to the friend of mine to do.  It helps to have someone help you out with something like this and I was giddy the first time I wore it.

The latest design that I was (for some reason) able to do myself was a samurai version of Link from Legend of Zelda.  I like to think of him as my trademark cosplay.  I love the overall design and I love how people can still somewhat recognize him, despite the obvious changes.

All of this is beside the point.  It’s high time that I finally bring out some new cosplays.  It’s a pretty good feeling when you’re creating something new, as well as have such a good reaction to the supposed ideas.  My first design is going to be a human version of Wall-E, from the Pixar movie of the same name.  I’ve wanted to do him for a long time and after looking at some fanart designs on DeviantArt, I think I settled on a design that I like.  I can’t show you any pictures of it yet because the cosplay isn’t done.  You’ll just have to wait.

I’m also working on Hawkeye from the Avengers, specifically the Jeremy Renner version from the live action movie.  Everyone and their mother wants me to dress up as him and I’m still having trouble figuring out why, but I’m not going to let that stop me, I think Hawkeye is cool.  I don’t have a picture of myself as him yet since I don’t have the cosplay hasn’t been started, and I’m not prepared to just take a picture of Jeremy as Hawkeye from the internet just to show you what I’m going for.  I’d like to not post something without someone’s permission thank you very much.  If you want to see him, go see the movie.  If you haven’t already, what are you doing still reading this?

All in all, I think that the last part of this year has been good.  I’ve been working not just on my voiceover work, but also on cosplay, and I mean new cosplays that I’ve never worn before.  I’ve been the blue ninja and the green samurai for far too long and I want to bring something new to the party!
